This typical neighborhood pub offers what you expect: tasty food, friendly service, a laid-back atmosphere and plenty of televised sporting events. The bars further north and south on Lincoln Avenue can get crowded and noisy, but this is a relatively quiet corner on the strip. In addition to sidewalk seating during the warmer months, Gannon?s has a secluded beer garden in back. They did such a nice job creating the space, you hardly notice that you?re sitting next to the Jewel parking lot.

The menu features sandwiches and burgers ($6-$7 range), heartier entrees ($7-$10 range), and a nice assortment of appetizers that you might not see in other pubs. Personally, I think Gannon?s has the best French fries in the neighborhood. The beer selection is fairly standard (and might seem small compared to some of their neighbors), but the list includes Bell?s, Harp, Half Acre and Stella. Nightly food and drink specials (e.g. pints under $4 and all-you-can-eat fish and chips on Friday for less than $8) are an added enticement. Check their website for the latest deals. The kitchen is open until 11:00 PM daily.

    Anyone’s ideal neighborhood bar. They have plenty of t.v.’s for sports,good food (try the mac-n-cheese),cool people working the bar and a laid back vibe= great spot! There is also a small patio for warmer months.
