The Park District has designed a new registration website that, long-term, promises all kinds of benefits like instant confirmation and the ability to purchase lap swim or fitness center memberships whenever you darn well please. Short-term, it’s bound to cause more than a few folks to lose out on slots in coveted classes while they slog through the account creation process as savvier resident hog all the spots in Basic Ballet. Because naturally your old account did not transfer to the new system.
So set up your account now. Literally. Stop reading this article and head over to chicagoparkdistrict.com, get an account (add children if applicable) and start making your Wish List. At 8:59 a.m. tomorrow, log on and click yourself into that Pilates Class for $80 (Pilates! $80!).
Me, I was all psyched for a Decorative Arts course when I realized the age limit was no younger than three or older than five. Ooops.
