Yo! Lincoln Square Raps!

This little ditty has been burning up the Internets all weekend. We tweeted about it on Friday morning, and then our buddies over at Chicagoist posted it, and then everything went nuts.

This painfully “white” rap ditty and video was put together by Alison Weiss and the local band, the Pawns. Alison is also locally known for being the producer of The Paper Machete, a free literary and music extravaganza that usually meets up Saturday afternoons in Ricochet’s.

We plan to get more on Alison and her hip-hop project, but for now, just watch the video and pass the word…
