Write for Roscoe View Journal

By Laura Pearson | Tuesday, August 24, 2010

We’re seeking writers for Roscoe View Journal! If you’d like to get involved, please get in touch and let us know what sort of content you’d like to contribute: restaurant reviews; “man on the street” interviews with local residents (what we call “Soapbox”); news on local businesses; real estate and development news; CAPS meeting coverage; or community events. (Or if you have another idea, feel free to pitch that, too!)

Journalistic experience is a plus, but certainly not a requirement to contribute to RVJ. Mostly, we are looking for enthusiastic writers with some knowledge of our coverage area (see our advertising page for a map) who are motivated to dig up news stories of local interest.

If you’d like to write for us, please email Laura Pearson, RVJ Editor, expressing what topics you’re interested in covering. Writing samples are also a plus, and if you have any story ideas, please include them. We hope to hear from you!
