Chicago police are interviewing someone they call a “person of interest” in connection with a stabbing early Sunday at a bar in the Roscoe Village neighborhood.
Police News Affairs spokesman John Mirabelli tells Roscoe View Journal that someone stabbed the woman around 4:53 a.m. at the Bluelight Bar, 3251 N. Western Ave. The bar is across Western Avenue from the Chicago Police Department’s Area North detective bureau.
An ambulance transported the woman in serious condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Her name and current condition is not known, nor is there any information about what prompted the stabbing.
