Woman raped in Ronan Park

Chicago police are looking for a man who allegedly raped a woman in Ronan Park.
On March 22 at 4:30 p.m., a man carrying a handgun approached a woman near the 3000 block of Argyle Street and took her to a secluded area by the riverbank, according to a community alert released by 17th District police. Police say the man is in his 30?s, black, 5?9?, 180 lbs, has short black hair and hair on his chin, and was wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Police encourage residents to walk in groups, be aware of their surroundings, and contact detectives at (312) 746-8282 if they have any information about the sexual assault.
