In Chicago, we’re all used to that wind chill factor. And temperatures will remain below freezing for the foreseeable future. But are you also feeling drafts in your home?

That’s why Horner Park Advisory Council recommends you attend the “Low-cost Weatherization and Education Workshop” on Saturday, Dec. 18 in the Horner Park Fieldhouse, 2741 Montrose Ave.

Horner Park Advisory Council Treasurer and Community Garden Chair Kevin Anderson will offer advice on how to save money on energy bills and stay comfortable year-round.

The program is open to all Chicago residents. Participants will each receive an eco-bag with items for your home and will be entered into a prize drawing for additional weatherization products.

To participate, RSVP by calling 312 772-4840 or emailing c3@hornerpark.org to reserve a seat at the workshop. Seats are limited. For more information visit the website.
