Step right up and get your tickets for upcoming performances of Circus in the Parks’ Midnight Circus, appearing Sept. 8-9 at Hamlin Park, 3035 N. Hoyne Ave.
Choose from two performances each day: 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sept. 8; 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sept. 9. Tickets are $15 per person, kids under two are free, and group tickets for 20 or more are discounted at $12 each. Tickets are available here, along with additional dates and parks.
The arrival of the big top is a big deal for Hamlin Park, which is a first-time host of the Circus. The Hamlin Park Advisory Council lobbied heavily for the moneymaking event — featuring aerialists, acrobats and “progressive clowns” — with the goal of raising nearly $15,000 for the park’s playground renovation project.
