As a Bears fan, is it too painful to watch the Super Bowl this year? Or maybe you just detest football? Or maybe you and the girls want a peaceful night away from your football-crazed significant others?

For some fun at the NFL’s expense, Lincoln Lodge invites you to fill that Super Bowl party void at their 6th annual Super Bowl Spectacular Comedy Show on Friday, Feb. 4 at Lincoln Restaurant, 4008 N. Lincoln Avenue.

Tight Five Productions and the Visitor’s Locker Room bring you a comedy event featuring local Chicago comedians mocking America’s most popular (and over-hyped) sporting event.

The show includes:

  • Stand-up performances by co-hosts and producers of the Visitor’s Locker Room, CJ Sullivan and Sean Flannery
  • A special video PSA on the NFL’s code of conduct
  • A live phone-in segment with outrageous sports-talk personality The Sports Animal
  • Comedians Ken Barnard and Brian McGannon appearing in character as Brett Favre and Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger
  • The Fox Sports Robot as a special on-the-street correspondent interviewing passers by live from Lincoln Avenue

The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance at www.thelincolnlodge.com. Parking is free and there is no drink minimum.

If you need a comedy fix before then, you can listen to the Visitor’s Locker Room on Fearless Radio.
