Northcenter residents Steve and Pam Katz look forward to Ribfest every year.

“We come here for the food and because we know we will see our neighbors and friends here,” said Pam. Their two-year old twins, Gillian and Hudson, have attended three years in a row (when you count being babies on-the-way).

Despite the cool, misty weather, the family looked like they had already enjoyed several offerings from the vendors. “The ribs from Mrs. Murphy’s Irish Bistro were quite good,” said Steve, “as was the corn-on-the-cob.” By the look of the twins’ jackets, the corn never stood a chance.

The former residents of San Francisco were not at all daunted by the weather, but the twins were anxious to hit the road.

We’re off to find some funnel cakes now!” said Pam.
