After months of speculation and a well-placed mention in a column by Sun Times political reporter Carol Marin, Springfield lobbyist Paul Rosenfeld has made it official: He’s running for 47th Ward Democratic Committeeman regardless of what incumbent and former Ald. Eugene Schulter plans to do.
The election for Democratic Committeeman is held during the party primaries on March 20, 2012. A press release put out this morning by Rosenfeld follows.
