Ribfest To Be Extended An Extra Block

This year’s Ribfest Chicago will be extended an additional block down Lincoln Avenue to Berteau this year, according to organizers Northcenter Chamber of Commerce. Ribfest Chicago, Northcenter’s biggest street festival, runs from Friday, June 10 to Sunday, June 12 this year. Previous festivals were limited to the space between Irving Park Rd. and Warner Ave.
“The businesses have been informed and we’re hand delivering noticed to residents,” said Northcenter Chamber spokesperson Brad Ball. “We want to have very hands-on management of expectations.”
Ribfest Chicago will have thirty food vendors this year, their most ever.
The extension was approved by outgoing Ald. Eugene Schulter this past week and noticed to neighbors were hand-delivered to over 400 surrounding residents.
