Chicago-based folk rockers the Ike Reilly Assassination, garage band The Whigs, alternative-country band Bottle Rockets, and the self-proclaimed “punk marching band” Mucca Pazza are just some of the bands playing at this year’s annual Rib Fest, which takes place from Friday, June 11, to Sunday, June 13. Bands will perform on two stages: the South Stage, located at 4000 N. Lincoln Ave., and the North Stage, located at 4128 N. Lincoln Ave. In addition to bands, a professional rib-eating contest is also scheduled for June 11. So be prepared to, uh, flex those stomachs.
