Are you an artist or small business owner wondering how to effectively market your work or product(s)? The next event in the “RAWednesday” series—monthly art salons and educational seminars sponsored by the Ravenswood Artwalk—is a DIY marketing workshop.
Five artists and business owners based in the Ravenswood Corridor will share their marketing expertise. The panel includes Fernando Mastrioianni (owner, Blackbird Gallery + Framing), Lea Tobin (graphic designer and co-owner, Astonrep Theater Company), Mimi Clayton (founder/director, Mimi’s Organic Exchange), and Kevin Swallow (self-taught artist and volunteer, Friends of the Arts). Lisa Canning, founder of the Institute for Arts Entrepreneurship, is the guest speaker and moderator. A Q&A session will follow the panel discussion, and refreshments will be served. There’s a $5 suggested donation.
The DIY Marketing Workshop takes place tomorrow Sept. 8, (7 – 9 p.m.) on the second floor of 4045 N. Ravenswood Ave. To RVSP via email, go here.
