Pizza D.O.C. Offers A Free Meal For Police, Fire & Military on 9/11

Patrons Dining at Pizza D.O.C.

Pizza D.O.C., 2251 W. Lawrence Ave., will provide a free meal to military personnel, firefighters and police officers with proper identification on Sunday, the 10th Anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Owned by sisters Diana and Carol Himmel, an announcement from the restaurant says the free meals are, “To show appreciation for the service men and women who keep our country safe, day-in and day-out.”

Pizza D.O.C., is open on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. A review in Center Square Journal last December said, “Not only do they take their food quality seriously at Pizza D.O.C., they also are committed to excellent customer service.
