This Fall the Neighborhood Boys And Girls Club, 2501 W. Irving Park Rd., is celebrating their 80th Anniversary and kicking off a $750,000 capital fundraising drive to renovate their building next to Revere Park.

NBGC, which operates separately from the national Boys And Girl Clubs, is probably most visible in the neighborhood for the giant carnival they throw behind Revere Park every July, but hosts about 1,400 kids in free summer and after school programs every year.

Last month the Club kicked off their capital campaign with a benefit dinner to help raise $750,000 for physical improvements to the Club’s facilities and to start a rainy day fund.

Check out the NBGC website for more details on how to volunteer for or support the Club.
