The Northcenter Chamber of Commerce and the Ravenswood Community Council are reporting Mayor Richard M. Daley is continuing his Neighborhood Appreciation Tour this Friday at 9:30 a.m. with a stop at Welles Park, 2333 W. Sunnyside for a “Park Dedication” to thank the 47th, 32nd and 33rd Wards.

Previous stops have focused on single wards, but as we get closer to his last day in office (Sunday, May 15) he seems to be jamming in multiple wards.

No word on what the event will entail, or what exactly he’ll be dedicating, since the Mayor’s office does not confirm his schedule until the night before, says Mayoral spokesperson Rosa Escareno.

The general public is invited.
