Man Commits Suicide Beneath CTA Tracks

The incident occurred on the 2400 block of W. Eastwood.

Yesterday morning the Chicago Police Department received a call reporting a suicide by hanging at 2446 W. Eastwood Ave.

According to the CPD, a local man hanged himself beneath the train tracks at the base of the CTA platform.

A Center Square Journal reader who lives on the 2500 block of West Eastwood reported, “As we were all walking our children to [Queen of Angels Elementary] school, the sirens came to find what many people had unfortunately already seen?a body hanging from the CTA brown line tracks in the alley.”

This neighbor said the sirens sounded at 8:15 a.m.

The man was identified by the medical examiner’s office as Joseph Barazowski, 39. He lived on the 800 block of West Belle Plaine Avenue.

Whoa……..that’s too close. Like 500 feet from my house. I didn’t drive thru the alley yesterday like i usually do otherwise i would have seen him. Sad. Hopefully it was just suicide and he wasn’t killed.

I think its scary. When stuff like this happens, people start seeing the deceased’s ghost hanging in the same place or walking nearby. I don’t want to see this dead guy walking around in the alley. Its already creepy in that alley. Don’t be surprised to start hearing things in the neighborhood.

He was unfortunately homeless… he was going through a hard time and recently a very close friend died and he was very depressed…..My uncle was a great person if only people knew him and how talented he was…I am very sad as my family is dealing with this today…We did not even know he took his life until today 10/8/2010. I leave this comment saying… Rest in peace and may your soul be saved and you are in heaven surrounded by happiness.

I know this man and he was a good man, the Federal Government funding has been mis-used in his case Connections, Entry Point, Hilda’s in which he was signed with could have help this man, he had stay with me for a couple of days along with a man named Nate both of them had been seeking help from a so called non-for-profit organization called aka, Hilda’s place aka, Entry Point link to aka Connections, in which a Becky Feiler is one of the directors she has done the complete opposite in helping” From what, I have seen along with, Joe there have been five other deaths in which could have been prevented.

There names are Will Prsanio of connection Claude Phillips of connections Ebony his so call girl-friend also Rodney Moore and now, Joesph Barazowski” He had even warned some of the consular’s also the director of his plans, but there focus was more directed to a more of a controllable kinds of client who they use in not so of a legal kind of activities from what, I have seen” I know because Ms. Becky Feiler the director had directed some of her clients to do some criminal activities to me one has been I suspect killed there is more for who ever is interested” I am Mr. Ronald Williams there more
