Man Arrested in Connection to Northcenter Fires

Police have arrested a man accused of setting several fires in Northcenter early Tuesday morning. Richard A. Sikora, 19, of the 3400 block of North Claremont Avenue is being held on $200,000 bond and faces felony arson charges and misdemeanor criminal damage to property charges. Via Chicago Breaking News:

When the officers arrived on-scene, the two men had fled, but they saw several fires in a nearby alley. They called the Fire Department and worked to put out a fire that was engulfing a garage and starting to spread, according to the release.

Belmont District officers responded to a report of two men breaking a car window in the 2000 block of West Irving Park Road that was called in by an off-duty police officer about 1 a.m. Tuesday, according to a police news release.
