With baseball season approaching, parking in Lakeview could soon become an even bigger hassle.

That’s why The Expired Meter and Alderman Tom Tunney will host a free Chicago Driver Survival Seminar on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 7 – 9:30 p.m. at the 23rd District Police Station, 850 W. Addison St.

They will teach the basics of avoiding and contesting parking tickets, red light camera tickets, speeding tickets and other moving violations. They will also discuss new driving laws that effect pedestrian and biking safety, and much more.

From the Expired Meter:

The seminar was created by Mike Brockway (aka The Parking Ticket Geek) the publisher of The Expired Meter.com (a local website providing news and advice on driving and parking), to help local drivers get a better understanding of these issues.

Visit the the Expired Meter website to get the full details or contact Ald. Tunney’s office at max.bever@cityofchicago.org.

Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. You can reserve a seat on the 44th Ward Driver Survivor Seminar RSVP page.
