Last Chance to See 50 Aldermen/50 Artists

Tomorrow is the last day to catch the 50 Aldermen/50 Artists exhibit at Johalla Projects, located at 1561 N. Milwaukee Ave.?As you can probably tell by the name, 50 artists were deployed to create portraits of all the members of the City Council. The artists who covered aldermen Richard Mell (seen to the right), Eugene Schulter, and Patrick O’Connor had an interesting take on each council member, and it’s definitely worth the time to trek over to Wicker Park. A closing party will be held at Johalla Projects tomorrow between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. The exhibit’s opening attracted a ton of people and a few aldermen, so get there early.
