It’s the question you’ve been dreading. In the middle of dinner, your seven-year-old blurts out, “Mommy, where do fish sticks come from?” If the only answer that springs to mind is “Um, the freezer,” keep reading.

On Saturday, August 13, 10-11 a.m.,  Shedd Aquarium and City Provisions, 1818 W. Wilson, are teaming up for a special children’s cooking class that will teach your youngster all about sustainable seafood snacks. The event, held at City Provisions, is free and open to kids of all ages.

Space is limited, so RSVP by Wednesday, August 10, to bhavlik@sheddaquarium.org.
