Kids in the Square, presented by the Lincoln Square Chamber is right around the corner — literally! Every corner of Lincoln Square will be full of activities for kids of all ages on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For your eco-conscious kid, bring your own banana peels and veggie scraps and learn how to make your own rot pot and worm snack bar at Enjoy (4723 N. Lincoln Avenue).  Your fashionista can stop by Pickle’s Playroom (2315 W. Lawrence Avenue) for glitter spray and funky hairstyles for just $5.

If you are looking for a relaxing morning, stop by the Davis Theater (4614 N. Lincoln Avenue) for a free movie at 10 a.m. Continue your relaxing mood at the Tai Chi Center of Chicago (4043 N. Ravenswood) and enjoy a free lesson in Tai Chi.

“KIDS in the Square” strives to bring together businesses and families throughout Lincoln Square. By offering fun and exciting activities for the children of the neighborhood ‘KIDS in the Square’ illustrates the strong commitment that the Lincoln Square business community has in fostering a relationship with all ages of the community,” says Melissa Flynn, executive director of the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce.

Kick off summer by enjoying a day with your family and supporting Lincoln Square’s local businesses.
