Homeless Man Robs Ravenswood Bank

The Sun Times Media Wire is reporting that Luis Castro, 30, allegedly used a brick to break into Ravenswood Bank, 2300 W. Lawrence Ave., and steal $25 of foreign coins.

The Sun Times reports that an alarm was set off at the bank at 2:05 a.m. when officers responded to find Castro “allegedly rummaging around the drive-through area inside the bank.”

Castro was apprehended and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing June 7 at in North Felony Court, (Br. 42), according to the Cook County Sheriff’s office.
