Looking for ways to cool off with the kiddies that don’t cost money or involve getting wet? Check out Sulzer Library‘s series of free children’s movies, held Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m. – noon, in the Lerner Auditorium, 4455 N. Lincoln Ave. Pre-registration is required only if you’re bringing a group of 10 or more, and why on earth would you want to do that.

The upcoming schedule:

July 20: Madeline in New York, Curious George, Where the Wild Things Are

July 27: Frog and Toad Are Friends, Harry the Dirty Dog, Tops and Bottoms, Curious George Rides a Bike

August 3: The Little Engine That Could, The Mouse and the Motorcycle, A Dark Dark Tale

For those who’ve progressed past the Tops and Bottoms years, Sulzer’s upcoming information session on eBooks might be more your speed. Librarians will explain how to download eBooks for free through the library and what readers need in order to take advantage of this service. Meet in Sulzer’s Community Room, Saturday, July 30, 2 p.m.
