A small interior fire in an apartment complex is under control tonight after a large response from the Chicago Fire department. No one was hurt and the fire was confined to the apartment where the fire started. Firefighters stated the fire started inside the walls possibly due to faulty electrical work.

**This story previously stated the fire was in the 4600 block of Winchester. CSJ regrets the error.

Wow, there must have been 20 emergency vehicles when I walked by, surprised it was all for an apartment fire. Most of the vehicles were lined up on Montrose, which was blocked off eastbound (except for buses).

This is the 4400 block, not 4600.
