I don’t know how, with a sweet tooth as big as mine, that the production of Eat Cake at the Cornservatory, 4210 N. Lincoln Ave., completely escaped my attention until now.
The production has been running on Thursday nights in May and closes May 26. Catch the final show at 8 p.m.; tickets are $10.
Written and directed by Kristi McKay, Eat Cake features an all-female cast. The premise: Six friends gather to celebrate the life of a friend and in the process of sharing stories, they eat lots of cake and drink lots of wine. The Cornservatory is BYOB and, we assume in this case, BYOC.
