You would barely know it by the lack of hype, but there’s an election coming on March 20. Since an election is on the way, starting today we all get to early vote!

As we’ve reported, there are no competitive local elections, candidates for Committeeman, state legislature and Congress are running unopposed, but there are still county-wide elections, and contests for Water Reclamation District, and judge.

If you haven’t tried it, early voting is pretty great. No lines and you can vote Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. p.m., and in Welles Park you can vote on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Early voting runs through Thursday, March 15. There are locations in every ward and in the Loop. Check here for a list.

For those who don’t want to go somewhere to vote, so long as you get your ballot in by March 15, you can vote by mail too. Get an application here.
