Recently Cong. Mike Quigley (D-5th) opened a satellite district office at 1057 W. Belmont in 44th Ald. Tom Tunney’s office space.
“This new office will give me a chance to hear from more of [my constituents],” Quigley said in a press release.
The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents can either walk in or schedule an appointment to meet in person with a rep from Quigley’s staff. Both offices offer info. and assistance with any issue involving a federal agency—such as immigration, social security, or Medicare payments. To set up an appointment, call the primary office (3742 W. Irving Park Road) at (773) 267-5926.
Prior to becoming Congressman in April 2009, replacing Rahm Emanuel, who became President Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff, Quigley used the space as a Cook County Commissioner field office.
With the November election just around the corner, Congressman Quigley plans to get in touch with even more constituents by holding office hours in other aldermanic offices in the district as well.
