City Clerk Susana Mendoza is bringing her city sticker traveling sales show to the 47th Ward on June 5. Residents can purchase a sticker at Sulzer Regional Library, 4455 N. Lincoln Ave., 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Current stickers expire June 30 and the grace period for enforcement ends July 16. At $85 per passenger vehicle and $135 per large passenger vehicle, the city is eager to cash in on the stickers. In addition to the 47th Ward sale day, stickers are available at all City Clerk and Department of Finance office locations, at more than 400 community vendors and online at www.chicityclerk.com. Senior citizens with a valid Illinois driver’s license are eligible for one reduced-rate $30 vehicle sticker.
In order to obtain a sticker at the sale, motorists must know their vehicle license plate, make and model. City vehicle stickers purchased after July 15 are subject to a $60 late fee and drivers may receive a $200 citation.
