Chicago Park District Budget Hearing at McFetridge on Thursday

By Mike Fourcher | Wednesday, July 20, 2011

Every year the Chicago Park District holds a round of regional budget hearings around Chicago, allowing local residents to comment on the budget as a whole, but to also plea their case for specific local projects.

Center Square has a number of local park projects underway, including Jacob Playlot, Filbert Playlot, the Horner Park riverbank plan and probably a few others still being developed.

This Thursday, you’ll have your chance to make your voice heard, as well as hear some other voices, at 6:00 p.m. at the McFetridge Field House, 3843 N. California Ave. Anyone can testify, but you’re limited to just two minutes per person.
