Shooting At Hamlin Park – UPDATE

Update: Police updated the address to 3100 N. Hoyne St. later in the evening.

An 18-year old hispanic man was shot in the leg this evening at about 5:30 p.m. on the block of 3100 3000 N. Hoyne, next to Hamlin Park, according to the Chicago Police Department.

The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center to treat his injuries. The police could not yet provide any information on the shooter or the circumstances of the crime.

    the Maniac Latin Disciples did the shooting, from Rockwell and George. St. they were shooting at rival gang members of the Insane Deuces. unless it was the other way around Insane Deuces shot at the MLD.

    That makes sense appear to be gang members or affiliates of gang members living at the corner of Barry and Hoyne  have seen cops at that building mid day several times during the day known gang members should be able to be evicted if they are receiving any government assistance to live there (Section 8).

    the Deuces family own that building, on Barry and Hoyne. they aren’t going anywhere. they are all over the neighborhood not just that apartment building.
