A major fire broke out this morning on Lincoln Ave. between Wellington and Barry avenues, Chicago Breaking News reports. The three-alarm fire started at the Peerless Imported Rugs store, 3033 N. Lincoln Ave., and spread to a neighboring 2½-story building
A firefighter at the scene told Roscoe View Journal that the first call was at 7:30 a.m. It was upgraded to a two-alarm fire at 8:30 a.m. It has since been upgraded. The second building is also opened by Peerless. The two buildings are located between Grand River and Waxman Candles.
