Food Network Tapes At Lutz Cafe

The Food Network is taping all day at Lutz Bakery, 2458 West Montrose Ave.,?for an episode of a new show, Kid In A Candy Store, set to air in July and August. This morning the crew captured kitchen scenes, but if you get to the bakery between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. today, you might have a chance to be a part of the taping in the cafe?up front.?The bakery’s famous baumkutchen is a centerpiece of the episode.
Kid In A Candy Store is hosted by Food Networks’ Adam Gertler, and the show features high-end bakeries across the country, like Lutz and Kickass Cupcakes in Sommerville, Mass.
