Two New Great Sponsors

By Mike Fourcher | Friday, June 4, 2010

If you take a look on the left, you’ll notice that we’ve got two great new sponsors, Provenance Food & Wine and Waveland Bowl. We’re excited to have their support – they’re great parts of the community.

Provenance Food & Wine, 2312 W. Leland St.?in Lincoln Square is an independently owned, neighborhood specialty shop that showcases affordable everyday wines (most between $10-$25), small-batch beers, artisanal cheeses, seasonal fresh produce, Red Hen breads, Heartland meats, frozen shrimp & fish, fresh & dried pasta, sauces, and many other high-quality products. In other words, it’s a place to shop for your evening’s dinner, when you need quick & elegant appetizers for your guests, a great bottle of wine to take to your neighborhood BYOB restaurant, or a gourmet gift basket.

Waveland Bowl, 3700 N. Western Ave. is a family business run by Gary Handler’s family since 1959. Today’s Waveland Bowl is an ultra-modern facility that has been voted Chicago’s best bowling center for two years in a row. This summer, Waveland is part of the national “Kids Bowl Free” promotion, where once registered, kids 15 and under get two free bowling games a day for the whole summer!

By the way, both of these great sponsors Tweet! Follow Waveland Bowl and Provenance for more specials and updates!

Shop local. Provenance supports many local businesses including Macaron Chicago who in turn buys ingredients from local farmers markets. Yummy.
