With speculation that support for President Obama has slimmed within the last four years,  a slimming in overall interest in the 2012 Election here in the city may be visible through the lack of local business interest in the 2012 Debates.  With opening night of the event upon the country this evening,  a social media blast alike the usual “Catch the Bears Game Here” was expected, but not found.

After a few unreturned calls and emails, relief was found at the cozy Red Lion Pub, 4749 N. Rockwell, where all the debates can be seen, and where the Northside DFA (Democrats for America) will be watching between 8:00pm and 9:30pm.

Residents further south can head to Lotties, 1925 West Cortland Street, where Alderman Scott Waguespack and fellow Democrats of the 32nd Ward, will be between 7:30pm and 10:30pm.

Know of more local bars to watch the rest of the debates with a neighbor? Let us know with a comment below.
