The corner of Hutchinson on Lincoln Avenue just got a little more exotic with the recent opening of Delhi 6, a self-described ?Indian Fusion Caf?? that offers traditional dishes (e.g. Bombay chaat and chili chicken) and ?fusion? cuisine such as Samosa-wiches, curry noodles, and tuna bruschetta. In addition to food, this new hangout squeezes in clothing, home d?cor, and Bollywood movie showings.

Owners Vikrant and Shalini Katariya said they wanted Delhi 6 to be more than just another coffee shop. ?This is what we really know, so it just made sense to give the place a makeover and surround ourselves with the things we love,? said Vikrant.

Delhi 6 also includes a wide selection of beverages, such as loose teas, chai, lassi, Italian sodas, and a variety of coffee drinks. Diners can even bring their own alcoholic beverages?preferably ones that pair well with Indian flavors, like a refreshing white from Campania that complements tangy dips and spicy marinades. The Katariyas said they plan on offering freshly squeezed juices sometime this summer.

Currently, Delhi 6 is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., but the Katariyas said they plan to extend evening hours and include patio seating in June when the weather really start to warm up. The couple will also be showing Bollywood cinema hits on a monthly basis starting on April 22.
