Question 1: What's the single most pressing issue at your school, and what role do you envision the LSC playing in addressing it?

For me, the most pressing issue will always be the quality of the teachers and the ongoing training that the teachers (and administrators) receive. It is a direct flow through to education of the students. As Chairperson of a non-profit that has worked for the last 25 years in providing high-level professional development to CPS teachers, I feel that I can bring the insights and benefits of a successful program to the Bell LSC.

Question 2: What prompted you to run for LSC?

- Exposure to CPS through Boundless Readers - Having moved and committed to the Bell Committee in 2009 - My daughter will be attending Bell in the Fall of 2014
