Struggling with a Valentine’s Day idea? Need to improve your “game”? Get some hints from one of the greats at the Music Box Theatre this Sunday, February 13, as it hosts The Second Annual Casablanca Sweetheart Sing.
Starting at 2 p.m., audience members will participate in a “Valentine’s Day Sweetheart Sing-Along”. Guests will croon to the Music Box organ aided by lyrics projected onto the big screen, with songs like, “You Are My Sunshine” and “Bicycle Built for Two.” The sing-along will be followed by a screening of one of the best love stories in cinematic history, 1942′s “Casablanca,” starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.
Tickets are $11 for individuals and $20 for couples. To add to the date, Blue Bayou Bar and Grill, just across the street, is offering a lunch or dinner prix fixe menu including an appetizer, entree for two, and dessert to share for $16 a person.
See the Music Box Theatre’s website for more details on this event.
