While some Chicagoans may be hunting for Easter eggs at the White House, we’ve got plenty of hunts going on this weekend right here in Center Square.

Eggstravaganza – Saturday, 11 a.m., Northcenter Town Square, 4100 N. Damen Ave. – Get a map of local businesses handing out eggs and candy. Not so much hunting, but more like Halloween, except with chicks and bunnies.

Jacob Playlot Hunt – Saturday, 9 a.m. 4600 N. Virginia Ave. – Friends of Jacob Playlot are organizing a neighborhood egg hunt. They ward that it starts at 9:00 a.m. “sharp!” Organizer Nate Hutcheson is still looking for packers and hiders to help. Call Nate at 773-330-2472 for more details.

Ravenswood Manor – Saturday, 9:30 a.m., Merle’s Coffee Shoppe, 4642 N. Francisco Ave. – Annual event organized in conjunction with the Ravenswood Manor Improvement Association.

UPDATE: It’s not quite an egg hunt, but Jennifer Fortney from BellyBum Boutique, 4347 N. Lincoln Ave., sent us a note that Saturday at 11:00 a.m, they will be participating in the Great Cloth Diaper Change, an effort to make a world record of you-know-what. Participants get a bag of goodies. No word on if a full diaper is required.
