While the kids are busy singing, “School is out for summer,” parents are already counting the days to September. How to keep the troops occupied and entertained? Camp Hollywood.

Camp Hollywood is a family film series brought to you by the folks at the Davis Theater, 4614 N. Lincoln Ave. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, from June 14 through August 17, the theater will feature a different kids’ movie each week. The show starts at 10 a.m. and all seats are just $1.

Though the lineup of movies is subject to change, the schedule currently includes past favorites such as “How to Train Your Dragon” and “Despicable Me,” along with 2011 releases “Rango” and “Rio.” Visit the Davis’ website for shows and showtimes.
