ALIVE Rescue is raising money for homeless pets at Lincoln Square Lanes, 4874 N. Lincoln, on Saturday, April 9.

ALIVE Rescue is a sustainable animal rescue that rehabilitates abandoned, abused and stray animals and matches them with permanent homes. They also provide support for animals that cannot be adopted and cares for them regardless of age, health or breed.

The organization mainly hosts dogs, but also accept other pets and livestock. They are raising funds to build a sanctuary for homeless animals in southwestern Michigan.

You can meet some of their adoptable dogs while you’re bowling. No, they probably won’t want to play fetch with a bowling ball.

You can also participate in their raffle, which includes a tour behind the scenes of the United Center through the locker rooms and the Zambonis, a private wine tasting and a number of pet-friendly gifts.

The event is Saturday, April 9, 7 – 10 p.m. Admission is $35 in advance and $40 at the door. It includes bowling, shoes, pizza and dessert. RSVP on Eventbrite, or contact ALIVE at events@aliverescue.org.

Donate to the organization and meet some of their adoptable pets on the ALIVE Rescue website.
