A Taste of Wine and Chocolate

Perceptual Motion's Annual Benefit, "A Taste of Wine and Chocolate," is 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010.

Perceptual Motion, Inc., a modern dance company based in Northcenter, will hold its annual benefit Saturday at the Belle Plaine Studio 2014 W. Belle Plaine.

The annual benefit “A Taste of Wine and Chocolate” will include a performance by Perceptual Motion dancers and a sneak peek at some of their upcoming performances. They’ll also offer an African dance lesson, set to live drumming.

Attendees can sample a number of wines. Chocolates and other sweets will be available from Angel Food Bakery, Café Selmarie, Lutz Café and Pastry Shop and Margie’s Candies.

Get some holiday shopping done while you’re there at the silent auction or try your luck at the 50/50 raffle. The auction offers massages, jewelry, gym memberships, artwork from local artists and restaurant gift certificates from Browntrout, Jury’s, Trattoria D.O.C., Chicago Pizza, Chicago Joe’s, The Bad Apple, Julius Meinl, Barba Yianni Greek Taverna, Paddy O’ Splaines and Trattoria Trullo.

Other prizes will be available from The Goodman Theatre, Old Town School of Folk Music, Indiana Ballet Theatre, Belgian Chocolatier Piron, The Chopping Block, Let Them Eat Chocolate!, Knit by Hand, Conviction Fitness, Advanced Chicago Physicians and R. Anderson Photography.

Tickets are available now. Purchase online: one ticket for $35 or two tickets for $60. Prices at the door are: one for $45 or two for $75. And RSVP on their Facebook event.
